- Made with Eastern Red Wood Cedar and a full 3/4 inch in thickness. ( Such a wonderful aroma )
- Unique Wood Colorization with each Build.
- Red Oak Predator Guard with Brass Portal Guard of 1 1/2 inch entry hole secured with Brass screws.
- Unique Brass Linchpin for easy pull to open front entrance for easy access in cleaning or observing.
- Constructed with Kreg Stainless Steel Screws, no brad nails or glue used in the build.
- Roof covered air vent hole with cut drip edge to prevent water back flow.
- Grooved Fledgling Ladder up to exit Portal.
- Recessed floor 1/2 inch to avoid water flowback and four corner air/water vents.
- Predrilled holes with 3 inch exterior Phillips head screws included for quick mounting. (Note: If mounting the box to a living tree, which is not recommended, do not over tighten screws for as the tree grows it will push against the box and eventfully split the wood or push out the screws. It is best to loosen the screws a bit each year when doing annual maintenance. )
